Hey all, I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right area.
I've been using my integrated webcam with no issues for weeks, but it just refused to turn on this morning. I normally use it for Facebook chat, but it will not register with Skype or Dell Webcam Central. I've been chasing my tail through the Dell Webcam support. It keeps redirecting me to itself, and I'm getting no where.
I've got an Inspiron 1545 with Vista. It's old, I know, but it's what I could afford at the time. All of the driver and software downloads I've come across are for newer computers.
I'd really like to get this fixed. Webcam is the only way I get to see my husband right now, and it's frustrating that it suddenly refuses to work.
Any suggestions?
