I have received my laptop few weeks ago and I'm very sad that It already began to show signs of death.. I paid almost $2,000 ISD would really appreciate some help to fix this issue.
So here is what happen:
Woke up today wanted to start the computer and suddenly I hear beep sounds and nothing is showing on the screen so I decided to turn the laptop off to prevent anything from happening... Moved to the living room tried it once again the same thing black screen with 8 beeps.
Googled a lot of possible fixing ways prior to finding this beautiful forum
1- I tried to start the laptop by pressing on FN + Power button = The result was different funny beeps (2tones).
2- I tried D+ Power button (After like 20 times of trying it worked and the screen started showing colors; which gave me hope.. but unfortunately few minutes later the screen freezes and we are back to the black screen and the beeps on the startup.[Tried doing the D+power buttons but it doesn't seem to work on a second try.
3-I did a system restore through AlienRespawn but still that didn't fix the issue.
4- Read somewhere that the Rams might be the issue so went ahead and bought new rams but still not signs of screen life.
5- Finally connected the laptop to my TV via HDMI and bumm it works well and I'm currently posting while viewing the TV.
So what can we do to fix this issue? I really want to use the 4k UHD I paid for rather than connecting a hdmi. Kindly assist in fixing this issue..
