Video Card Fried?

So I have a Dell XPS Studio 1640 and today while I was watching a video my screen froze and the laptop stopped responding. I restarted it and there were weird lines that appeared from top to bottom around the windows logo while it was loading. Then it froze again and now the laptop monitor refuses to turn on. ( I don't see the initial DELL logo screen or anything).

I've done "D+power" and the monitor colors seem to flash properly without any distortions. I've also done "fn+power" and and after some time i get some beeps and caps lock flashes along with the volume lights. No idea what they mean. I've also tried connecting to a TV with an HDMI cable with no luck. I've also tried discharging techniques that I read on the forums.

I'm assuming that my graphics card is fried (It is over 4 years old). So my first question is that does my motherboard have some generic built in graphics card? If yes how would I go about using that instead? Also how to actually confirm that my graphics card is indeed fried? Any other suggestions are also welcome.

Thanks!
