I was using the port to connect to my HDTV. It was working fine yesterday and when I went to connect today it never connects. I tried another HD monitor which I know is working through that port so it is not the monitor or TV. I tried a different shorter cable as well so I suspect it is the laptop that has an issue. Of course the warranty ran out a couple of weeks ago. 
I was using WIDI for awhile to the Push2TV but it was extremely flaky and would only connect 1 out of 10 times. Now I have no connection. I was wondering if there was a disable for the hdmi port. Regardless I am flogging the dead horse at this point.
