touch screen works but not backlit

I have a Dell Chromebook 3120 s/n<Service Tag removed> , the non-touch screen was broken and I replaced it with a multi-touch screen assembly. The touch functions properly but is not backlit and cannot be seen unless held at a certain angle. Any and all help is welcome and appreciated. Thank you
