How to connect a Dell Latitude E6320 to a U2713HM for Max resolution of 2650x1440?

Hi,

I have from work a Dell E6320, I recently upgraded from a 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitor to a 27" U2713HM, I have a MacBook pro ('11) with a Mini-DP connection to my new monitor for max resolution. I am however struggling to find the best way, or even a certain way, to reach out the max resolution of the monitor on my work Dell. I may be even willing to share the DisplayPort if that's the only option.

Please recommend whether mini-hdmi with custom resolution, Port replicator with DisplayPort or any other solution will work.
