I have a Vostro 3560 with the ATI Radeon HD 7670m and after upgrading to Windows 8.1 my laptop switches off whenever I run a game for more than 5 minutes. It runs fine as long as I stay away from anything semi graphics intensive though.
I have installed the latest drivers for both the Intel 4000 and the Radeon, and at the moment I'm even running the latest beta drivers for the Radeon but it doesn't help. I have tried disabling either one of the two but then running a game is like running a game without any form of graphics card.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue? Does anyone have any ideas I can try out?
