Hi all,
First post since ages but I came across my old M1530 yesterday (still with the NVIDIA chip problem incidentally!) but I was wondering if this issue is still in existence. I was on the edge of just simply throwing it into the trash can but then I simply want to check with this forum to see if there had been any advances on fixing this issue. I've seen some folks advertising on eBay with re-flow treatment for their motherboards. Does a simple re-solder really cure this problem or is it's fate still the trashcan?
