Dell Inspiron N5010 "pale" screen + textures on the screen itself

Dear Dell community,

I've got a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop and it's got kind of 'pale' screen - when, for example, in games or while watching movies very dark colours are not really dark, sort of missing contrast. And yes, I tried adjusting contrast and brightness settings, nothing really works and it seems it's the problem of the screen itself. In parallel with that, I've got some kind of a 'texture' which is also visible only when the screen goes really dark (say, a shadow in a movie scene). And it's on the whole area of the screen. 

I've been looking through forums for quite a while now but it seems that nobody has anything similar to my problem. 

Could it be a screen fault of some sort?
