Hi,
I just got my laptop (XPS 15 L521x with i5-3210m and GeForce GT 630M) a few days ago and have been updating/fixing a number of things.
Everything is ok now, except some graphics issue. I'm on Windows 8.1 now and set all scaling to 100% on the DPI settings because the default 125% was causing some blur/fuzzy issues on some windows (however, 125% on Win 8.0 was fine). But the 100% is too small for me, but since nothing is fuzzy, I'm keeping it this way for now. This is more a Windows problem though...
Anyway, the brightness control does not work sometimes. And for when it does, the pop up meter is funny looking: http://i.imgur.com/XSoiwE2.jpg
Maybe it's a driver issue? Can someone tell me what driver I should be running? According to Device Manager, my HD 4000 driver is on 10.18.10.3262 version. And for the 630M, it's on 9.18.13.3182.
