i sure hope someone can help me as Dell will not unless i pay them $59 an hour! I have older Dell
inspiron 1200 i love this lil puter we were until yesterday going to replace home computer for the holidays
with a new Dell desktop but the customer support i have received makes me second think that purchase! ok
so when i push power button to turn computer on it flashes the dell logo thingy and its coloring is not right
then screen goes black. it does this every time except once it passed the off color dell logo then the
windows logo popped up colors were perfect then poof black screen. Now if i take flashlight and get close
to screen i can see icons on desk top i can even open any of them nothing else seems to be wrong except screen goes black.
i have not done anything new i left the room came back and screen was black.
first i kinda thought maybe my cat had walked across key board so i tried the brightness thingy pressing
fn button thats not the problem i can see brightness changes when lookin at screen with flash light,
