Dear all, With this new monitor BenQ EW2440L I purchased recently, I was able to connect it as external display via HDMI briefly for about 5 minutes, and when I switched it off and on again, my Dell XPS 17 wouldn't send HDMI signal anymore. Another Dell Inspiron 15 via HDMI and a Lenovo via VGA work perfectly fine with the monitor.
After doing multiple combinations of HDMI cables, restoring to a previous automatic backup, I am convinced now that Dell XPS 17 has failed in some way to output HDMI signal to this BenQ monitor. However, this Dell XPS 17 still continues to work with my Sony amplifiler (connected to HDTV).
Can anyone please suggest?
