I'm thinking of purchasing a 2015 dell xps 13". I'm looking to hook up 2 external 24" dell lcds that are 1920x1080p max res. I understand the laptop comes with a display port 1.2 and should be able to output full resolution to both external monitors. However what do I actually need in order to have this setup?
I'm getting a little confused with the whether or not I need a docking station, usb 3.0 to hdmi adapter, or some sort of splitter cable. I just want to hook up 2 additional monitors while still being able to use the main laptop screen, and I'll hook up my own mouse and keyboard to the laptop. Please let me know if this setup is possible and how I can hook it up. Thanks.
