Hello,
I seem to be experiencing technical issues with my laptop (Inspiron 14R, Windows 8, i7-4500U CPU 1.8/3.0 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GT750M). Whenever I try to start graphics-intense games (such as Witcher 2 or Starcraft 2) they crash immediately after they've began loading. I have ran my system through Dell's diagnostic tool available online, and obtained some interesting results. According to it, my Geforce video card experiences an 'abnormal exit' during the following tests:
Shader rendering test 2
Fixed transformation and lighting test 2
Wireframe line test 2
Wireframe shader rendering test 2
Multiple rendering DX9 test 2
One more thing: curiously enough, not every game crashes when I start it. Dragon Age: Inquisition or Civilization: Beyond Earth work just fine. So, there doesn't seam to be any rhyme or reason to which game works and which doesn't.
I have so far tried everything from reinstalling drivers up to and including a complete system reinstall, but the issue persists. Has anybody experienced a similar problem before, and if so, what else can I do to regain full functionality? Any assistance would be welcome.
