Crashes 30min to a 1hr in game

I have Alienware R2 at firt I got a dxgi error device hung. And now I can't play more than hour and it crashes. Is the gpu bad it is a 970 gtx . It happens on all games and steams full screen. It is 3 weeks old and has only played  on steam.
