New Dell user here. Got laptop as in the title 16GB/128mSata/1TB/3610QM. Recently it started to freeze with artifacts on the screen. It happens mostly during general web browsing or Youtube videos. Looks like this
I upgraded video drivers for both cards, gt650 and intel. I run Dell diagnostic program and the only thing it finds is Short Smart test failed on my mSata drive, error WHD16-6TZ. All other tests pass without a problem. I will get another drive to test soon and will reinstall windows from scratch, see if that helps. I though it may be the video card but it seems to be happening when using both cards (I assume so as intel card kicks in when doing non intensive video tasks right? It happened while gaming as well but only like 2 times). Anyone got a suggestion for me? Perhaps someone had the very same problem at some point? Please let me know and thank you for your help, Dan
