I just got my Alienware 14 and its working well alone and on a 23" LCD monitor in HDMI mode. The problem is that when I hook it to my TV, (same resolution etc. just bigger) it only gives me a black screen. It does not say "not connected" just stays black.
I know there are a bunch of places to find settings and I've looked at all I know of. At one point I did have it working and it seemed like I changed the resolution to something else and then back. That process has not worked since. After I disconnected it that one time, it has never worked again. the port is good, and my monitor still works on that same res using HDMI so the video output is also good. ????????????
