I upgraded my Inspiron 15z 5523 to Windows 8.1 (64-bit) when it was released. Since then I have not had the option to reduce the brightness from maximum. The function keys do not work, and there is no option to manage the brightness in the video properties. I have installed the latest drivers for everything, from the BIOS to the video drivers, and nothing has made a difference. I'd prefer not to reinstall Windows if I can help it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
