The HP w2338h monitor apparently cannot be connected thru a docking station. If it is then the generic PnP settings will not recognize it's full imagine resolution size. Even if the actual driver for the HP monitor is used, when you start up the computer again it disappears and the laptop goes back to it's PnP settings.
The HP w2338h material even says it cannot be connected thru a docking station, it must go directly to the VGA input on the computer. When connected directly the monitor works correctly.
I see a number of other posts where monitors are not providing their inherent high resolution settings. Has anyone found a solution?
