Laptop has integrated intel hd 3000 graphics.
The problem is as follows.
I boot up to windows 7
The sign in screen shows up, I put in my password
The moment the desktop screen shows up, the screen itself looks garbled but it doesn't always do it. It doesn't do it at any time prior to this. Usually, it will just go away after 10 seconds or so. If waiting doesn't work I change the resolution to something other than the highest and it goes away. I can put it back to the highest and the problem doesn't return. Only a few times has it just popped up when using it. I just installed the latest driver from intel, didn't make a difference.
I also run Linux mint, I have never had this problem in the hundreds of times I have booted it.
