I just got the Dell Latitude E6540 and the screen is so color-saturated it's actually kind of irritating my eyes. I turned the brightness down and it really isn't helping. I'm typing this on my old Latitude D610 and the colors look more accurate even though the screen is brighter. I don't understand the difference in this screen and the E6540's. I had an E6530 and I don't remember the screen being this saturated. I know they're both LED screens while my D610 is LCD, though I'm not sure how exactly that translates into the difference.
Can anyone tell me the exact tech specs of the E6540 screen? What are the differences between it and the E6530?
Honestly, the E6540 screen reminds me of my Motorola Droid Razr... just over-saturated and almost neon-colored; doesn't look very accurate. The Razr screen is AMOLED, and in comparison, the iPhone screen is IPS and looks a lot better. Is the E6540 screen IPS? Please educate me if I'm spewing nonsense.
