Hi,
I am having issue with video output via the HDMI port. I use a HDMI to VGA converter to connect to the projector. I can see on my laptop it detects dual monitors when I plug in the HDMI converter, but there is simply no video output to the projector.
Things I have tried:
Changing resolution. (No video output)
Changing between duplicate display and Extended display. (No video output)
Tested the converter and projector on another pc. (Yes there is video output)
Updating Intel Graphics 4400 driver to latest on the Dell support website ver10.18.10.3574. (No video output)
Updating Intel Graphics 4400 driver to latest on the Intel website ver10.18.10.3621. (No video output)
So generally, there is nothing wrong with projector and the converter. There's something wrong with my laptop. It was working fine a month ago. I think I did a video driver update and a BIOS update as recommended by the Dell software. I did not test the HDMI output till now.
