Video Card Driver issue: Software & Downloads Windows 7 64bit video drivers are not able to install. When attempting to install "C:\dell\drivers\R308826" I get the error message: "Video: Intel HD Graphics Driver: This self-extracting zip file is part of a multidisk file. Please insert the last disk of the set." So I am unable to continue that route.
Next, I have attempted to install R308853.exe and I get the same as above.
Next, I attempt to install R318570.exe and I get the message: "NVIDIA Graphics Driver, Version 268.86: Install Cannot continue, You must install an Intel driver first." - - - But i have already attempted that with the first two installations, and cannot continue since there is a "multidisk file" issue on the intel drivers: R308826.exe and R308853.exe.
Finally; I have gone to the My Dell Downloads site and I only see my previous laptop on there. When I click on add machine it attempts to detect my Service Tag, but fails and I cannot seem to get past that.
As an FYI... I am in this situation for the following reason. My original hard drive failed. I lost my data, etcetera, and have ordered the replacement hard drive from Dell. I was shipped the replacement, but it is not a Seagate as the original one was; instead, it is a Western Digital. In anycase, I replaced the Hard Drive no problem. Used the original Dell Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CD and now that the system is up and running I have downloaded all the drivers possible. The only one I am missing is the Video card driver and an unknown showing still in the Device Manager.
