I have a brand new 4th gen XPS 12. I bought it with a displaylink docking station with a view to using it as my main computer at work whilst taking it with my during my regular travels.
When I first got it, I experienced a certain amount of pixel distortions on the screen.
Changing the screen refresh rate helped solve most of it. But I realized that the interference would mostly happen when it was near my old laptop (something I did a lot in the first few days because of the file transferring, configuration etc.)
I kind of ignored it because I didn't plan on having two laptops sitting next to each other for very long.
And then I traveled and the interference pretty much stopped.
But now that I am back in my office and have set it up with the displaylink and monitor, the problem is beginning to show its ugly face again.
The solution is usually to restart the XPS, but is that really a solution for a laptop I spent so much money on?
If someone could please help me solve this permanently, I'd really appreciate it.
