Inspiron 15 7000 Touchscreen issue

Hello, the screen of my Inspiron 15-7537 doesn't respond when I touch if it is opened in a wide angle, but becomes touch sensitive again if I make the angle smaller. Is this a deliberate feature or a hardware problem?
