A long time back I got a Dell Latitude D520 as a gift. My dog stepped on the screen and broke it. I've been able to use laptop with a monitor in the past while the screen was broken, but all of a sudden, it won't connect. It runs on XP. My monitor detects that the cable is connected to a computer, but nothing else. I've tried the FN + F8 button (CRT/LCD). I own another computer that uses the same cord on the same monitor and it works just fine. Please help!
