Inspiron 1300 - dual display/extended desktop/cloning

I'm thinking about buying an Inspiron 1300 but need to know for definite that it has dual display capabilities and supports extended desktop and clone modes. This is because I want to be able to hook it up to a data projector to run Powerpoint presentations etc.

The Dell website seems to state that this notebook has these capabilities but when I rang Dell to order and to double check this the sales guy was admamant that it doesn't.

Can anyone who has an Inspiron 1300 confirm this for me?
