I bought a XPS 15 502X about 3 years ago and was working fine until I spilled some water on it couple of days back. I shut it down immediately and unplugged power and battery, opened it up, dried it, waited for day to boot it. But, now there is no video on the screen. Absolutely nothing, not even back lighting. I also tried connecting an external monitor to the HDMI slot and nothing on external monitor either.
The system has an NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M 1GB apart from the integrated graphics.
The system seems to be booting otherwise, from what I can see on the HDD LEDS.
I have removed the LCD connector and tried reseating it and no change.
What are my options now? Is there a way to fix without replacing the whole motherboard.
Any help will be appreciated.
