I'm trying to load Corel PSP x6 ultimate from a new CD/DVD onto my 2011 Inspiron laptop with Windows 7. PSP requires the following;
Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP with latest service packs installed (32-bit or 64-bit editions)
Intel or AMD 1.5 Ghz processor with SSE2 supported (multi-core processer recommended)
2 GB RAM (4 GB or higher recommended)
1 GB hard disk space (2 GB recommended)
1024 x 768 resolution with 16-bit color display (1366 x 768 resolution with 24-bit or higher color display recommended)
DirectX 9 or higher compatible audio card with latest driver
Internet connection required for online features and tutorial videos
Windows compatible CD/DVD drive for installation
installation wizard immediately pops up a warning that says display resolution on the laptop needs to be increased, My laptop has the required resolution options and I've tried them all and get the same error. Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm not very computer savvy.
