I have a Dell N 7110 with the integrated Intel 3000 graphics. Every once in a while, say 1 in 20 times when I boot it up it gets to the login screen no problem. But when I go to the desktop the screen becomes agitated and it sort of greys itself and becomes squiggly, It is still viewable but barely, I can log out to the the login screen it goes away. When I come back it's back. What does seem to fix it is changing the resolution to 1280 x 720. It goes away then I can immediately change it back to 1600 x 900 and it's just fine and won't come back. I have all of the latest driver updates and I am running windows 7. I just hope it's not a slowly dieing integrated graphics card/MB. I haven't been able to hook it up to an external monitor, because it usually corrects itself in 20 seconds or less. Also, and I don't know if it's related, windows will not allow me to get a computer score, it runs through the entire process then gives some sort of error.
