My tablet is brand new only about 17 days old, but I've noticed several dead pixels (about 12 in all) and its rather annoying for a new device,
Other than that though it is fine no scratches on the screen or anywhere, because I baby my electronics.
I called dell to asked them about fixing it and they want me to send it in for repairs. Understandable, however I have sent laptops in to be worked on by alienware and they have come back scratched. This bugs me because I eventually resell them to upgrade to new hardware and it will knock the price down. Plus its annoying when new items are damaged so early. One of my alienware laptops came back with missing screws as well.
I guess my question is, since its so new, will they replace it with a new or like new tablet or just hobble it together and ruin it? At least the dead pixels would be fixed i guess...
I have never sent a product in within 90 days before so its new to me. Should I just tough out the pixels? I'd rather have the dead pixels than a damaged tablet.
